ASR Hip System Recall Guide
DePuy has issued a voluntary recall of its ASR™ XL Acetabular Hip System and DePuy ASR™ Hip Resurfacing System.
This recall means additional testing and monitoring of patients may be necessary. These systems first became available in July 2003. If you had your hip surgery prior to July 2003, the hip you received is not subject to this recall.
