The ESI has been active in the field of Medical and Further Education since 1991. One of the first training centres of its kind in the world, the ESI focuses on minimally invasive surgical techniques and promotes the use and improvement of this technique throughout Europe. The ESI trains more than 13,500 health care professionals each year from various medical backgrounds. Available training focuses on many medical areas in the Johnson & Johnson family including, minimally invasive surgery, orthopaedics, sports injury, radiology and cardiology.

 

The state of the art facility has been home to the DePuy Educational Programme since 2003 and hosts an array of instructional courses, learning centres and symposiums for the surgical community across Europe, Middle East and Africa. The DePuy Institute in conjunction with the ESI, has the ability to consistently offer specific training needs which meets your needs and plays an active role in helping to continually help to improve patient outcomes.

 

The high quality and cutting edge technology is present throughout the 13 meeting rooms at the ESI. With the Joseph Lister Auditorium offering 330 seats, fulfilling even the most detailed, functional and aesthetic requirements. The spacious foyers in front of the Auditorium are ideal for buffet meals, receptions, entertainment programs and exhibitions to accompany the event. With direct access from the lower foyer, the terrace and winter garden provide an inviting atmosphere.
