About the ALPS Large Fragment Plating System

The A.L.P.S. Large Fragment System is a titanium plate and screw system that fuses locking screw technology with conventional plating techniques. The set was designed to maximize treatment options when managing fractures requiring large fragment fixation, as well as, to serve as the core system for additional anatomic implants.

The system incorporates the Hybrid Compression Plating Technology (HCP™) for compression and locked fixation. The locking screw technology is reflected in the round threaded screw holes. The screws lock into position when tightened to establish a fixed angle construct for strong fixation in osteopenic bone or when optimal screw purchase is required.

The compression screw fixation is reflected in the oval screw holes. They accept non-locking screws and allow for up to 90 degrees of axial and 32 degrees of transverse screw angulation while offering 3 mm of axial compression. The screws can be positioned and used in compression, neutral and buttress modes.

About the Humeral Proximal Nail

The Proximal Humeral Nail is designed to treat complex proximal humeral fractures.

Locking technology allows all proximal multiple angled screws to be rigidly locked to the nail to prevent potential screw back out, commonly associated with nailing proximal humeral fractures.

About the Humeral Universal Nail

The Universal Humeral Nail is a single nail designed to treat a range of fractures of the humerus, incorporating a variety of locking options.

The Universal design is appropriate for antegrade and retrograde approaches for fractures in right or left humerus, reducing inventory without compromising treatment options.
