As a hip replacement solution, DePuy Orthopaedics offers the new ASPHERE™ Contoured Metal Head, the only femoral head of its kind. Using our exclusive aspheric design and precision manufacturing, the ASPHERE head is designed to approximate the shaping that occurs during the in vivo run-in wear phase, potentially reducing the metal debris and associated ion release that can occur with a conventional metal-on-metal bearing.

For traditional total hip replacement, DePuy Orthopaedics’ clinically proven advanced bearing system, PINNACLE® Hip Solutions, was designed to help provide a more fluid range of natural motion. It is the only hip solution to feature TRUEGLIDE™ technology, allowing the body to create a thin film of lubrication between surfaces.

The minimally invasive Anterior Approach for hip replacement is an advanced application using the PROfx® or HANA® table from Mizuho OSI. The streamlined design of DePuy Orthopaedics' advanced bone preservation stems, the CORAIL® Hip System and the TRI-LOCK® Bone Preservation Stem, allow these implants to be easily inserted using this technique.

DePuy Orthopaedics also offers a range of computer-assisted surgery products, such as CI™ Hip Essential, which provides real-time intra-operative information for control through every step of surgery.
