Tri-Lock® Bone Preservation Stem
The clinical heritage of Tri-lock® has been well documented since its introduction in 1981. When using component revision for aseptic loosening as the end point, published studies have reported Tri-lock® survivorship at 100%.1 The key to achieving these numbers is the Tri-lock® Bone Preservation Stem's tapered-wedge design. The thin anterior/posterior width of the stem helps provide intimate implant to bone contact to take place proximally at the medial and lateral endosteal cortices. This intimate contact provides both rotational and axial stability, while increasing the opportunity for bony ingrowth.
The Tri-lock® Bone Preservation Stem is a combination of the Tri-lock® Stem's proven design philosophy and newly enhanced features.
