DePuy Spine, Inc. is the second largest spine company in the world with world-wide headquarters situated in Raynham, Massachusetts and manufacturing plants located in California, Massachusetts, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland and China. Surgeons in over 54 countries use devices and solutions for fixation and fusion, motion preservation, minimally invasive spine surgery and biologics.
DePuy Pre-Clinical Studies to support research to advance the knowledgebase and understanding of surgical interventions on spine biomechanics. Funding amounts will vary based upon the merit of the proposal and detailed budget.
1st Tier – Award up to $15,000.00 for a period not to exceed one year
2nd Tier – Award up to $25,000.00 per year for two years (Maximum of $50,000.00)
The DePuy Spine Clinical Research Study Program is currently seeking proposals in the following areas:
MIS and Complex Adult Degenerative Spine
Pre-Clinical/biomechanical 1st Tier
• Advancements in implantable materials (e.g. high fracture toughness, low
thermal curing cements, high fatigue strength alloys)
Pre-Clinical/biomechanical 2nd Tier
(e.g. favored angle screws for lumbar spine de-rotation, Dual-innie screws)
